    Targeted consultations  
 

 

Targeted consultations are being held around the country to as part of the consultation process.

 

During the targeted consultation, representatives of the four categories of health care workers will be interviewed and asked to provide feedback on whether they found the framework relevant, practical, easy to understand and that there are no gaps in the knowledge and skills.

 

Targeted consultations are being held in the following facilities:

  • A rural community drug and alcohol centre
  • A general practice
  • An allied health practice
  • A rural community hospital
  • A hospital in a large rural centre
  • A psychiatric facility
  • An aged care facility
  • An outer metropolitan hospital
  • Two metropolitan teaching hospitals (one on east coast and one in Northern Territory)
